INITIAL REVIEW (2022-01-11) I really like it, I like winding it. You probably should wind it every morning or every other morning at the latest. I think the spring lasts about a day and a half. It's easy to feel when the spring is fully wound. On these watches as in the old fashioned Timex watches, and other watches of the period, you probably shouldn't wind the spring all the way tight. You will get the feel for the spring after you've wound it a few times.I noticed it will lose a few minutes after several weeks. So resetting the time, probably once a week, is a good idea. It's a pretty good watch. I've been wearing it instead of my electronic watch all the time now. I originally only got it for the weekend, but it's so fun to keep it wound and keep it set, it keeps one's life going in a "normal" way.Not good to get wet, I think it's water resistant, but you wouldn't want to wear this in the pool or in the shower. The leather band will soak up water and I'm not sure about the works internally. But don't be afraid to get it wet, just don't immerse it.I recommend it for people that miss the activity of winding a watch or for people that don't want to wear an electronic watch.==========================UPDATE (2022-01-16): I've had the watch for two months, and literally a few days after I wrote this positive review, the stem came out of the case while I was setting the watch. I do not know what the seller will do. I contacted them through Amazon and on their website, telling them what happened.
